I believe this is Lona Lyda's grandmother, Kate Ledbetter Lyda., daughter of Walton and Sarah Goodbread Ledbetter. Kate was married to John D. Lyda, who died between 1851-1860 in North Carolina. Kate, his widow, in 1860 is living back home with her parents and she has three of their children with her. In 1880 Kate Ledbetter Lyda moved in with her son-in-law, David McKillop after his wife and her daughter, Sarah Rachel Ann Lyda McKillop, died. Family legend says Kate stayed with David and helped raise his children.5131
