SARDIS — Services for Sherman McBride, 73, retired farmer, were today at Sardis Senior Citizens: building. Burial was in Sardis Cemetery with Reed's Chapel funeral home in charge.
Mr. McBride died Saturday at Medical Arts Hospital in Lamesa, Texas, after a short illness.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Eunia McBride of Sardis; a daughter, Mrs. Cathy Lee of Lamesa, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Landry and Mrs. Artie Dyer, both of Sardis, and Mrs. Ethil Sipes of Lexington; and three grandchildren.
