PHILLIP T. GOODBREAD

Son of Thomas and Harriett Elizabeth Goodbread, was born about 1815 in Camden Co. GA. He married 1st on 12 May 1836 by Camden Co. License dated 23 Feb. 1836 (Bk B, p 66) Elizabeth Stewart, daughter of George Stewart. She died in 1846 and Phillip T. Goodbread married 2nd on 12 May 1846, Glynn Co. GA, (Bk A, p 39) the twice-widowed Martha C. Lamb.

Phillip T. Goodbread moved to Florida shortly after their marriage and the children of this second marriage were born in Florida. Phillip T. Goodbread died between 1855 and 1858, probably in Florida. His widow Martha Lamb is back in Glynn Co. GA, where she married Phillip's brother Dennis L. Goodbread on 5 Apr. 1858.

Phillip T. Goodbread had ten children, five by each of his wives:

<5> Adam Souder Goodbread IV born 1846, died before 1850;

<7> Cornelia Franklin Goodbread, twin born 1849, married Samuel Turner Goodbread, son of Uncle Adam Souder Goodbread;
<8> Adam Souder Goodbread IV, born 1850, married 10 Apr. 1869 Cloy A. Goodbread;
<9> Robert H. Goodbread, born 1853, married 10 May 1874 Hattie Williams (Wayne Co. GA Bk A-B, p 52);
<10) Martha C. Goodbread born 1855, died young.
