FORT PAYNE - Services for Mrs. Evelyn Chandler Hathcock, 68, of Fort Payne will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Second Baptist Church in Fort Payne with the Rev. Max Tucker and the Rev. Ronald Shavers officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Fort Payne with Burt-Whltmire Funeral Home in Fort Payne In charge.
Mrs. Hathcock died Tuesday at her residence.
Survivors include her husband, Louie Hathcock of Fort Payne; two sons, Ralph Hathcock of Rainbow City and Jimmy Hathcock of Gadsden; a daughter, Mrs. Sybil Bolton of Oxford; three brothers, Hobert “O.H.” Chandler, W.G. Chandler and George Chandler, all of Centre; a sister, Mrs. Vinnie Stapleton of Centre; 12 grand-children.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of the DeKalb County Health Department and the Fort Payne Rescue Squad.
