Sarah Anna Hathcock was born at Pocahontas, Coffee Co TN March 31, 1856 and died December 21, 1933 at Hoover’s Gap, Rutherford Co TN. She is buried in the Fults - Fox family cemetery in the Fox Hollow. She married first George W Hawks September 16, 1877, Coffee County, Tennessee. He was the son of James Thomas Hawks and Ann Ballard. When the 1880 Coffee County census was taken, she was 24, her brothers, Miles age 28, John L, age 20, James age 18 and her daughter, Nellie Hawks, were living in their widowed mother’s household. She married second, Odie Earp.960
