HARRIS2099 – George Baxter Harris, 82, a resident of Albuquerque for 17 years, passed away Saturday in a hospital. He is survived by four sons, Floyd E. Harris of Lake View Terrace, Calif.; Raymond B. Harris of Norwalk, Calif. Herman C. Harris of Huntington Park, Calif.; George A. Harris of Rogersville, Mo.; eleven grandchildren; six great-grand-children: four sisters. Gladys House of Mississippi; Lucille Ruff of California; Ruth Stradley of Colorado; Grace Hewlith of Colorado; and one brother, Welborn Harris of Chandler, Ariz. Services for Mr. Harris will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 a m. in the Chapel of the Garden of the French Mortuary, 1111 University NE, with Mr. Wilfred McKenzie officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
