Mrs Belle Duck an early pioneer of Woods county died Monday at her home in Wellington Kan
She and her husband settled on a claim southeast of Avard in the early days but moved to Wellington in 1919 where she resided until her death. Her husband, John J Duck, died In 1933.
Survivors are four sons — Roy C Duck, Avard: Glenn Duck, Grand Junction Colo.; J R Duck, Minneapolis, Minn; Cecil C Duck, Elks, Nev; and two daughter,s Mrs Edna Burns, Wellington and Mrs Hazel York, Clarinda, Iowa.
