He is sire of the 1996 RRCUS National Specialty Best of Breed winner, Ch Rubandi's Ruby Red Sailor ('Captain') and was also selected as the #1 stud dog at this specialty show.Phoebe is a beautiful red-wheaten bitch, standing 26 inches at the withers and weighing 80 pounds. She is of our breeding and we coown her with Judy Davis, with whom Phoebe lives in Clayton, California. This is Phoebe's first litter.
Zulu is a well-known show dog and established sire. In 1994 he ranked #3 in all-breed and #6 in Ridgeback breed points. In 1995 he ranked #4 in both systems. He was the Best of Breed winner at the 1996 Westminster Kennel Club show and took Awards of Merit at the 1996 and 1997 RRCUS National Specialties.

The litter consisted of eight puppies, three dogs and five bitches. Two puppies were classified as 'pet-quality' (kinked tails). The remaining two dogs and four bitches were considered show prospects.
