15 May 1837: Wyche Brewer bought section 13, Twsp 19-N, 2-W. Demopolis Land Office, Sumter Co AL. This land was in the general area where Matthew Brewer owned land. I have not identified a definite link but descendants of Wyche Brewer share autosomal DNA with Clayon Heathcock, so it is possible that Wyche Brewer was a brother, son or first cousin of Matthew Brewer.
