Obituary for Pete Meshelle4804 At a local hospital, June 27. Late resident of Turner, Ore. Survived by wife, Zelma Meshelle of Turner, two daughters, Mrs. Iris Gleason, of Aumsville; Mrs. Helen Rogow of Torrance, Calif.; son, Rex Meshelle of Turner. Calvin Meshelle of Turner and Francis Meshelle, U.S. Army, Texas, George Weigart of Salem. 17 grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Services will be Thursday, June 30th at 3:30 p.m. in the Virgil T. Golden Chapel, Rev. W. Harold Lyman officiating. Interment, Rest Lawn Memory Gardens.
OBITUARY
Mrs Sybil Scott Meshelle4805 Sybil May Scott was born August 15, 1899, at Benkelman, Neb., and departed this life November 8, 1918, at the home of her mother, aged 19 years 2 months and 23 days. Her entire life has been spent in Benkelman with the exception of one year pent in the state of Washington and iix months since her marriage at Otis, Colo. She was converted at the age of 12 years and united with the United Presbyterian church, of which she remained a faithful member until called to enter the Life Eternal.
She was united in marriage to Pete Meshelle on April 20, 1916, at Benkelman. Neb. To this union two children were born, Iris Grace, aged 1 year and 9 months, and recently a baby boy, who died at birth. She leaves to mourn her departure her husband and baby girl, her mother, Mrs Ed Diefendorf, her stepfather, three brothers, Bert Scott of Nevada, Iowa, Winfield Scott and Ward Scott of Oregon, Mrs Lottie Feeley of Washington state, and Mrs Maud Layton of Benkelman, and a host of relatives and friends. Two brothers vand a sister preceded her td the spit-it world.
Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock, conducted by Rev H C Marshall, and interment took place in the Benklman cemetery.
The sympathy of the community is extended to. the bereaved ones in this hour of sorrow.
