Alma J. (Smith) McRae Baker, 90, of Battle Creek died Sunday, Jury 10, 1994, in Evergreen Manor.
She was bom July 7, 1904, in Paden, Miss., to Marcus and Cora (Lester) Smith and came to Battle Creek in the late 1920s.
Mrs. Baker was a homemaker and a member of First Congregational Church.
She enjoyed gardening and raising both indoor and outdoor flowers.
Her first marriage, to Wiffiam Ernest McRae, ended in divorce. She married Harlow A. Baker on Oct 18, 1945. He died June 22, 1967.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Grandvffle B. and Voidure Smith.
Surviving are a son, Eugene "Mac" McRae of Hernando, Fla.; a daughter, C. Jean Reitz of Battle Creek; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three step-great-granchildren.
Visitation: After 10 a.m. Tuesday at Farley-Estes Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 7 to 9 p.m.
Services: 11 am. Wednesday in the chapel at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens, with Rev. David H. Graham officiating.
Burial: Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials: Radio Fund at First Congregational Church or the charity of one's choice.
