Thomas Franklin Drake, 81 of Mammoth Sprlng, father of Mayor Boyce Drake of Mountain Home, died at the Fulton County Hospital at Saiem on Dec 22.
Funeral servlce were held on Dec. 26 at the Leo Carr chapel at Thayer, Mo., with Bro. Clovls Ragsdale officiating, Interment was In the Humphries Cemetery under the direction of the Leo Carr Funeral Home.
Mr. Drake, the son of the late Van Dorn Drake and Betty Drake, was born at Saddle (Fulton County) on Jan. 7, 1884. He was first married to the former Bessie Hackworth, who preceded him in death. He was later married to the former Ida Martin.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ida Drake, of the home; and six children. Mrs. Ella McCord of St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Lois weaver of Mammoth Spring, Mrs. Lola Bowling of Llttle Rock, Boyce Drake of Mountain Home, Ivan Drake and Bertus Drake, both of Wenatchee, Wash.; two half-brothers, Lonnle and Johnnie Rhoades of Glencoe, 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
