Parents: Andrew McMicken (1804-1880) and Eliza A. Faires (1805-1848)
Sarah's family moved to Fayette County Texas when she was a child (before 1840). Joseph E. Criswell and Sarah were married in Fayette County in 1848, and they lived there until 1883, when they moved to Coryell County. Sarah died during the trip near Circleville, Williamson County. Her body was shipped to Crawford and buried in Crawford Cemetery.
(Joseph re-married [to Maggie Bishop] and lived in Coryell, Mills, and Lampasas Counties.)
