CLEBURNE — Roy Lavon Gilchrest of Cleburne died Wednesday at a Cleburne hospital. He was 27.
Graveside service will be at 2 pm Tuesday at Cleburne Memorial Cemetery Gilchrest was born in Fort Worth. He was a Sheetrock worker. He was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church in Cleburne.
Survivors include his wife Teresa June Gilchrest of Cleburne; two son, Roy Edward Gilchrest and Michael Dan Gilchrest, both of Cleburne; one daughter, Valerie Lavon Gilchrest of Cleburne; his mother, Betty Eaves of Fort Worth; his father Charles Gilchrest of Henderson in East Texas; two brothers, Charles Gilchrest and Harold Gilchrest, both of Fort Worth; and two sisters, Elizabeth Collard of Somerville and Betty Woodard of Rockwall, northeast of Dallas.
