Robert E. (Bob) Taylor, 66. of 1606 Fisk Ave. died at 1:10 a.m. today in Brownwood Community Hospital following a long illness.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Davis-Morris Funeral Home with burial to be in Kastlawn Memorial Park. Hev. Bobby Weathers will officiate.
Mr. Taylor, a Brownwood resident 10 years, was owner-operator of Taylor Motors. He was born Feb. 3, 1906 in Hamilton and married Mildred Smith Sept. 30, 1929 in Ballinger.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. John Ricker of Lancaster; a son, Jerry Bob Taylor of Duncanville; three sisters, Mrs. Oscar Douglas and Mrs. Tom Griffis of Hamilton and Mrs. Britton McMillon of Lawn; five brothers, Tom and Lynn Taylor of Hamilton, Sandy Taylor of Brownwood, Charles Taylor of Hurst and Lonnie Taylor of Midland; and five grandchildren.
