Services for Virgil Rich, 77, of Route 8, Lubbock, were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Williams Funeral Home in Garland. Burial followed in Sachs Cemetery in Sachse.
He died Sunday at his home of a heart attack. He was a native of Collin County and was a farmer.
Survivors include two sons, Cleatus R. Rich of Lubbock and Virgil Rich Jr. of Shepherd; two daughters, Jenette Brassfield and Jeneve Wehmeyer of Lubbock; a brother, John H. Rich of Garland; 24 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
