Gladys H. Oveson, 89, Salina, died Sunday, Feb. 21,1999, at Salina Regional Health Center.
Mrs. Oveson was born Jan. 19, 1910, at Randall and had been a Salina resident for 50 years. She worked for Wilson and Co. Engineers and Architects, Salina, from to 1949 to 1973 and was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Ladies Elks, both of Salina.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, in 1995; a daughter, Shirley Bayer, in 1997; and a grandson.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Hamilton of Charlotteville, Va.; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina, the Rev. David Weible officiating.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Youthville, P.O. Box 210, Newton 67114.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
