The assignment of Nancy Elizabeth as a daughter of John Huff and Malinda Yarborough is likely incorrect. According to Shirt Tail Kin, “John and Malinda Yarborough had seven children: Sarah, Mary, Joseph, Leonard, Elizabeth, Jane and Isaac.” However, Eileen Martin Bone, author of Shirt Tail Kin, Elizabeth Huff was born August 1858 and married David B. Hickman in Iron County MO on June 6, 1880 and had children named Minnie, Eugene, Fred, Harry, Letha, Owida amd Dave. Such a family is in fact found in the 1900 census of St Francois Co MO:
