Trenton Tenn June 7 — After an Illness of two weeks A M Jones aged 94 years died at his home in this city last night He was born In Maury county Tenn near Columbia Dec 11 1822 and was married to Miss Matilda Bass Dec 11 1850 To this union were horn twelve children fifty-tive grandchildren and twenty five great-grandchildren Ten children survive him He was a soldier In the Confederate army serving under Gen Forrest. Funeral services were conducted at the residence by the Revs R M Walker and Max Strang and the remains were Interred in Oakland cemetery.
