AUSTIN Jan 7--Funeral services will be held in San Antonio Saturday for Dr Jeremiah Rhodes 76 assistant state superintendent of schools who died here Thursday after en appendectomy.
Dr Rhodes was nationally known for his work in education and formerly was head of San Antonio schools.
His outstanding achievement in education is considered to have been the fostering of junior high schools in the San Antonio system.
