Leslie N. Connor3807GREENVILLE - Leslie N. Connor, 79, of 305 Garrett St, Mauldin, a retired J. P. Stevens Co. employe, died Monday.
Born in Lancaster, a son of the late John Q. and Hettie Bell Connor, he was a member of Mauldin First Baptist Church, Monaghan Masonic Lodge No. 251, A.F.M. and served in the U.S. Army during World War I.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Margie C. Hitchcock of Fort Worth, Tex., Mrs. Mildred C. Spears and Mrs. Faye C. Cook of Mauldin; three sons, Earl Connor of Lancaster, Donald Connor of Greenville and Ted Connor of Mauldin; a brother, Brice Connor of Greenwood; 17 grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren.
Services were today at 4 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, with burial In Woodlawn Memorial Park with Masonic Rites by Monaghan Masonic Lodge.
The family is at the home of Mrs. Faye C. Cook, 305 Garrett St., Mauldin.
