Ila Mae Schultz, 100, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 14, 2013. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at Johnson's Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Beal officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
She was born on March 20, 1913, in Floresville, Texas, to William G. and Stella Mae (Heathcock) Asbury. She grew up in South, Texas and her family later moved to the San Angelo area. Ila Mae saw many things in her lifetime, from covered wagons to living through the great depression to seeing the U.S. space shuttle.
