Brownsville, TN- Mrs. Marjorie W. Smoot, age 86, passed away in her home in Brownsville, Tennessee, Sunday, April 15, 2007. Mrs. Smoot was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Brownsville.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Brownsville Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 18, 2007 with entombment following in Brownsville Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum.
Mrs. Smoot is survived by two sons: Dr. John Smoot, Batesville, MS and James L Smoot and his wife, Jenny, Brownsville, TN; one daughter: Jennifer Coulston and her husband, David, Brownsville, TN; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Mr. Smoot, a retired postal clerk, died Thursday morning at Methodist Hospital Central after a six-month illness.
He had three children, Dr. John Smoot of Batesville, Miss., James L. Smoot of London, England, and Jennifer Smoot of Brownsville.
