MRS WILLIE C GILLILAND3627Warrenton--Mrs Willie C Gilliland, 82, died at the home of her daughter Mrs Henry Haithcock of Macon with whom she was visiting Tuesday night at 10:55 o'clock after an illness of the past 10 days. She was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Caroline Barner Moseley of Brunswick County Va and the widow of James R Gilliland of Macon Warren County She had been living in Rocky Mount for the past 28 years and was a member of the Cavalry Baptist Church there. Last rites will be conducted from the graveside of Gardner’s Baptist Church Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by the Rev R E Brickhouse of Warren Plains and Macon Baptist churches, assisted by the Rev Gilmer Parrish of Elberon, Warren County. Surviving are two sons, James H Gilliland of Macon and A V Gilliland of Rocky Mount two daughters Mrs Nannie G Griggs of Bennettsville, SC, one brother, J. T. Moseley of Littleton, and several half-brothers and sisters; 16 andchildren and 10 6 great-grandchildren.
