OLLA – Services for Myrtle Lee Cook will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Riser & Son with the Revs. Donald Doughty, David Miller and P.A. "Fox" Paul officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pineville.
Mrs. Cook, 91, of Urania died Monday, Oct. 31, 1994, in LaSalle General Hospital, Jena.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Hardy M. Cook of Urania; two sons, Forrest Cook of Urania and Michial Cook of Atlanta, Ga.; three daughters, Olive Haywood and Nelda Brakefield, both of Rayville, and Janet Cook of Urania; two sisters, Edna Wilson of Urania and Dottie M. Elliott of Shreveport; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Edgar F. Cook Jr., Joseph T. Cook, Rusty Brakefield, Jimmy Brakefield, Chuck Cook and Jon Cook.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of services in the funeral home.

He was a retired power plant manager with Urania Lumber Co. and La. Pacific Corp., Urania. He was a deacon and song leader at First Baptist Church, Urania.
Survivors include two sons, Forrest Cook of Urania and Michial Cook of Atlanta, Ga.; three daughters, Olive Haywood and Nelda Brakefield, both of Rayville, and Janet Cook of Urania; one sister, Nellie Simmons of Olla; 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
