William Brown's will, dated 22 Oct. 1773, proved 14 October 1776, mentions his daughter Elizabeth, her husband Richardson Henley, and several of the Henley children, i.e., Alice Eaton Henley, Martha and Richardson Henley. Brown had a daughter Alice, born 1738. His son John was Commissary General for Virginia during the Revolution.
