Mr. Beckman died Friday1601 Roland A. Beckman, 76, of Leisure Hills North, Lakeview, a retired business consultant, died Friday at the Baxter General Hospital.
A resident of this area for 8-1/2 years, he was a member of the Bull Shoals Methodist Church and a World War I veteran. He was born Jan. 18, 1895, at Clinton, Mo., the son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Beckman, and was married to the former Audrey M. Abegg.
A private funeral service was conducted Saturday at the Memorial Chapel by Rev. Ray Edwards, minister of the Cotter and Bull Shoals Methodist Churches. Arrangements were under the direction of the McClure-Smith Service.
Mr. Beckman is survived by his wife, Mrs. Audrey M. Beckman of Lakeview; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Soderborg of Flossmoor, Ill., Mrs. Phillip Johnson of Annandale, Va., and Mrs. Jack Kiely of Naples, Fla.; a brother, Dr. A. O. Beckman of Corona del Mar, Calif.; sister, Mrs. Karl Belser Campbell, Calif.; and 12 grandchildren.
