YOAKUM - Jim McCauley, 81, of Yoakum, died at his home at 11:43 p.m.
Monday. He was born January 15, 1900, in Shelby County and was a longtime resident of Yoakum.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Buffington Funeral Home chapel with Chesley Stevens of the Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lillie McCauley of Yoakum; a daughter. Mrs. Polly Miller of Corpus Christi; three sons, Ray and Jack, both of Fort Worth and Tony of Yoakum; two sisters, Mrs. Vera Wright of Lubbock and Mrs. Tom Pierce of Turkey; nine grandchildren; and nine greatgrandchildren.
