Russell Jacob Petrick, 28, passed away Thanksgiving morning after a 2 year battle with a rare form of cancer. He was born January 1, 1986 in Visalia, California.
Russell graduated from Woodland Park High School in 2004 and attended the Colorado Film School in Aurora, Colorado. He was self-employed as a computer technician. He was the lighting and video director of his church, The Masters House. He enjoyed camping, film making, and was fascinated with space.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather's, Nolan Roberts and Bill Petrick; and his cousins, Ben Corbitt and Bethany Faubel.
He is survived by his parents, Randy and Nola Petrick; his siblings, Brian Petrick and Delaney (Matthew) Harrell; and his grandparents, Verne and Letha Heyward and Sam and Mildred Criswell.
Memorial Service, 1:30PM, Saturday, December 6, 2014, The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Interment will be at a later date at Woodland Park Cemetery.
