McHENRY - Guy C. Bacon, 74, McCall, Idaho, formerly of McHenry, died. Friday, Feb. 13. in Idaho, where he had resided for many years.
He was born Feb. 1, 1896, in McHenry, the son of William and Zena (Potter) Bacon and was a graduate of McHenry High School. He served as an aviation lieutenant in World War I.
He is survived by a son, Jim; three grandchildren; eight sisters, Miss Inez Bacon, Woodstock, Mrs. Ruth Dam, Kenosha, Wis., Mrs. Lelah Howard, McHenry, Mrs. Doris Robinson, of California, Mrs. Fern Mitchell and Mrs. Arlene Hiatt, Waukegan, Mrs. Hazel Lange, Wonder Lake, and Mrs. Lois Rapp, Arlington Heights; and three brothers, Bill, Mansfield, Ark., Marshall, Yardville, NJ., and Robert, Wonder Lake.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kay, a sister, Mary, and two brothers, Miles and Lester.
Services and burial will be in Idaho.
