Notes for Tom H. Harvin
The Lay-Harvin Wedding, an article in the January 7, 1916 Floresville Chronicle-Journal, says a Miss Mina Lay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Lay of Sutherland Springs, Texas, married Mr. Tom Harvin on December 25, 1915. They moved to Kennard, Texas. Tom being the son of R.R. Harvin of Sutherland Springs.

Mrs. Dan Lay and little daughter have gone to Kennard to see her new granddaughter who arrived October 31, 1916 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Harvin.
1930 [Note: the little daughter would be Lille Bell Lay, who was born in 1910 and would have been six years old at the time.]

HARVIN1931 Mrs. Mina L. Harvin, of 1133 W. Crolg, died Thursday at a local hospital. Survivors: Daughter, Mrs. Eunice Gibson, Los Angeles, Calif.; sister, Mrs. Howard Burris, San Antonio; 3 grandchildren.
