Mrs Susie Dean Dies at Age of 861886
Mrs Susie Elizabeth Adair Dean, 86, of 1642 Clinton St., died at 12:40 am Tuesday in Hendrick Memorial Hospital. She had been ill since November with a heart ailment and entered the hospital Saturday night.
Mrs Dean was born April 20, 1871 in Sardis, Miss. and married Russell Langston Dean on Jan 20, 1892 in Tyro, Miss. They moved to Denton County in 1895 and to West Texas in 1906. Mr Dean, who was a farmer, died in 1950.
Funeral will be held at 2 pm Wednesday in the First Baptist Church at Hamlin with the Rev Calvin Bailey, pastor of the Hamlin Baptist Church officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev Hollis Yeilding, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Abilene.
Burial will be In Hamlin East Cemetery under direction of Foster Funeral Home of Hamlin. Local arrangements were under the direction of Elliott's funeral Home
