Joseph A. Fisher was dead in July 1869 when his sister Emily Fisher Tharp and her husband sold the 1/7 interest in the lands originally patented by Elijah Fisher, which land “being the entire interest in said lands inherited by said Emily Tharp from her deceased father Hiram Fisher and her deceased brother Joseph Fisher.” A copy of this deed is attached to Hiram G.
