'John Price....to daughter Mary Cannon, three ewes; son John Price, 7 head of cattle that is two cowes, three heifers and two yearlings, one feather bed and bolster, one rug and one blanket, and the bed steed it lyeth on, coutch called the red coutch and one iron pott, called the midling pott, with pott racks and pott hooks, two pewter dishes and two plates and one paile, and one large chest which was called his chest; to son Daniel Price, one chest called the linnen chest, one horse colt which goeth along with the one eyed mare, one small gun, 1 three year old heifer call Primrose; to son Pew Price, one feather bed and bolster, one red yard sett rugg, one blanket; and the bed steed it lyeth on, one large chest, 1 greate pott with pott racks and pott hooks, two pewter dishes and two plates, one large iron spitt, 1 large brass kettle, 1 large dripping pan, one pied cow named Pye and 1 yearling and one white coutch and 1 ovil table, to daughter Eliza Price, one large tirkey leather trunck with drawers, two pewter dishes and two plates, one stew pott and cover lid, one cow called Mottley with her increase. In the name of God, Amen, I, John Price, Sr., of the County of Henrico, being sick and weak of body, but of a Bound mind and perfect sense, thanks be to Allmighty God for the same, therefore do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following:
First, I bequeath my soul into the hands of Allmighty God that gave it, and my body to the earth to be decently buryed according to the discretion of my Executor hereinafter mentioned and as for the worldly goods as it hath pleased Allmighty God to bestow upon me, I have thought fitt to bestow them as followeth:
Item, I give and bequeath unto my daughter, Mary Cannon, born of the body of my loving wife, Jane Price, tree ewes to be delivered Imediately after my decease.
Item, I give and bequeath unto my son, John Price, born of the body of my wife aforesaid, seven head of cattle, that is two cowes, three heffers, and two yearlings, which said cattle were commonly called his own, one fether bed and bolster, one Rug and one blanket and the bedstead it lyeth in, one couth called the red coutch, one Iron pott called the midlin pott with Pott Racks and pot hooks; two pewter Dishes and two plates and one paile and one large chest which was called my chest.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my eon, Daniel Price, born of the body of my wife aforesaid, one chest called the linnen chest, one horse colt which goeth along with the one eyed mare, one small gun, one three year old heffer called Primrose.

All the rest of my estate as well, real as personal I give and bequeath unto my dear and loving wife, Jane Price, whom I make and ordain and constitute my whole and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and disannulling all former wills and Testaments of any kind or nature whatsoever.
In witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and affixed my seale this fifteenth day cf December Anno Dom. 1710.

John PRICE was born about 1650 in Henrico County, Virginia. He died in May 1711 at the age of 61 in Henrico County, Virginia.
The 1910 book by the Rev. Benjamin L. Price has several serious errors. He names the wife of John Price as Jane Cannon and his father as Matthews Price, neither is correct.
ADVENTURERS OF PURSE & PERSON continues the error concerning Mathew Price as his father.
18 Oct 1681, Henrico Co. Benjamin Hatcher sold 150 acres to John Pleasants. This land had belonged to his father William Hatcher and was purchased from Daniel & John Price in 1677; bounded by land of Samuel Woodward and Turkey Island Creek. Commonly know as Turkey Island Point. [This is the original patent of their grandfather John Price.]
John and Jane Price gave a gift of a horse to their daughter Mary on 2 Feb 1690. They gave a gift of 120 acres on Four Mile Creek and a slave named Robin to their son Pew Price on 31 Aug 1710. If he died without issues, land & slave would revert to their son Daniel.

John PRICE and Jane PEW/PUGH were married. Jane PEW/PUGH, daughter of Henry PEW and Jane MILNER, was born (date unknown).
Before 1713, the widow Jane Price had married a second time, to Hugh Ligon.
John PRICE and Jane PEW/PUGH had the following children:
Mary PRICE was born (date unknown). Mary was born before 2 Feb 1691 when her father gave her a mare. She was married before Dec of 1710 to John Cannon. He wrote his will 5 Jun 1732 which is in Henrico Co Wills & Deeds, 1725-37.
John PRICE.
Daniel PRICE died before 1720 in Henrico County, Virginia. Daniel died without issue. He was deceased by 4 Apr 1720 when a suit of Pew Price against John Price, heir at law of Daniel Price was dismissed.

Elizabeth PRICE was born (date unknown). Married Emanuel Dees about 1725.

Jane Pew has been proven to be the daughter of Henry Pew who died in Henrico Co VA. In his will he left a bequest to his daughter Jane Price and a bequest to his grandson Daniel Price. (Henrico County, Virginia Records - 1704-1714, Reel 6, P 115).1655
On 31 July 1688 Henry Pew deeded land to his daughter Jane. This deed was not recorded but on 7 Dec. 1713 Hugh Ligon and Jane, his wife, "relict of John Price [Sr.], late of Henrico County, planter," gave with love to John [Jr], eldest son of John and Jane one half of a tract where Henry Pew, father of Jane, formerly lived.1670
