Note: Mrs. L A Walker died Wed at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W H Ray. Her remains were laid to rest Thursday at Burford Cemetery in the presence of a large concourse of weeping friends and relatives. Funeral services by A G Perry of Coldwater. Mrs. Walker has been an invalid for sometime. She leaves 10 children, and a host of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She was about 75 years old and had been a member of the Baptist Church from her youth. We greatly sympathize with the bereaved ones. Source: The Tate County Democrat, April 1906, Bowman Article1394
