Moved to Pauola (? - could be Panola) County, Mississippi before the Civil War Married to Adam Brown and mother to his children who are listed above She and both parents as well as Adam are buried in Rose Hill Cemetery near Sardis, Mississippi. Her death was possibly on June 26, 1895.

Born 1833 in Ayer, Scotand. Came by sailboat to USA at the age of 10 with all his family. Father of Sallie Brown Hay Turcott, Henrietta Amelia Brown Butler, Pearl Allie Brown, who died at the age of 5, and Elizabeth (Aunt Lizzie) Brown Butler. Adam was born on July 16, 1833 and died March 19, 1906. He was buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, near Sardis Mississippi.
