MRS. M. O. HARRIS DEAD

Died, at her home in Italy, Texas, July 3rd, 1923, Mrs. M. O. Harris. Mrs Harris was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Woodward. She was born June 25th, 1892, was married to Mr. M. O. Harris March 17, 1907. To this union were born seven children, who are now left motherless. Mrs. Harris was a member of the Baptist church at Dowenville, Texas. She leaves her husband, seven children, father, five sisters and one brother to look with sadness upon a vacant chair in the Harris home. But let them be consoled by remembering that when a child of God vacates a seat on earth that same child of God occupies a new place above. As the bible put it "Absent from the body but present with the Lord." So the bereaved ones I would say "weep not as others who have no hope" and think of the loved one gone before in the light of the teaching of the word of God. For instance read Rev. 14:13. "Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord from henceforth, yea saith the Spirit, they shall rest from their labor, but their works shall follow." So let everyone of Mrs. Harris' friends heed the admonition of the good book "prepare to meet thy God" and by being thus prepared you shall also meet your loved ones gone before.
