Roland G. Treon, resident of Mercedes, TX, dob 18 July 1895, completed a WWI Draft Registration card
25 on 5 June 1917.  He reported his place of birth as Dallas, TX.  He was a bee keeper, single, and reported on Question 12 that he supported his parents. The Chief Registrar, D. Charles Beech, wrote at the bottom of the card “The answer to Question 12 is untrue.”
Roland and Mamie (both age 24) are listed as husband and wife in the 1920 census of San Benito City, Cameron Co TX (10-12 January 1920).  Roland listed his occupation as dirt contractor.
