Mrs Mary Frances Bluhm, 78, of Austwell, died Tuesday at 8 45 a m in a Victoria hospital after an extended illness.
Mrs Bluhm was born August 20, 1895 in Buda, Tex., the daughter of the late J. W and Matlie J Howe Adair. She married Bruno El Bluhm of Austwell, August 9. 1925.
Mrs Bluhm was formerly a resident of San Marcos and Beeville. She had been a school teacher at Austwell High, School and had served as postmaster in Austwell.
She was a member of the order of the Eastern Star and the Austwell United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p m. at the Austwell United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Claude Cagle and the Rev Tyson officiating. Burial will be in Tivoli Cemetery with McCabe-Carruth Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The remains will lie in state -at the church Thursday from 1 p.m. until time for services. Members of the Eastern Star will conduct graveside services.
Survivors include one sister, Miss Elizabeth Adair of San Antonio; a brother, Albert J. Adair of Austin; nieces and nephews.
