Davidson; John Wendlant and Miss Mena Ulmann, married March 29th, by Rev. Dr. George Gatsch; P. W. Taylor and Miss Susan M. Rielly, married March 25th, by Rev. T. T. Hunt.
Memphis is in Shelby Co TN, which is near Haywood Co.  Mamphis is 60 miles SW of Brownsville and it might have been normal for a couple to go there to be married.
