Lilly Belle, "Sister" as they called her, lived on a steady diet of Cokes and banana twins! until she died in the 1980s.40 Lilly Belle married several times, and had a daughter, Marilyn, and a son, Jack, by her second husband, Bill Hall. She spent most of her life living in Houston or San Antonio.

Her first husband was Rip Kirkham. After her divorce from Gideon “Bill” Hall, she was married to Richard Merritt. then to Arlee Grubbs, and finally to Jack Carey. When she died in 1988, her last name was still Carey.
