The puppies were born on Saturday, January 25. There were originally seven puppies but one was stillborn and a small female did not survive the first night. The five remaining puppies are all very robust. Their temporary names are:
  1. Fafner, liver nosed male
  2. Fasholt, black nosed male
  3. Friea, liver nosed female
  4. Erde, black nosed female
  5. Fricke, black nosed female
All of the puppies have nice long ridges, although Fricke's crowns are somewhat offset.
