Ch Camelot Lightnin' (1990-2004)

Boz was one of four girls in the very first Camelot litter. Initially, she was sold to Pat and John Rooney, good family friends in Cordelia, California. However, we kept a keen interest in Boz and had her in our home frequently, including for showing to her AKC championship. When Boz was a little over three year old, she came back to Camelot to stay because the Rooney's had twin children and since they already had another toddler and a male RR, they could not provide proper attention for Boz.

Thereafter, for ten years, Boz co-ruled Camelot along with her mother, Ch Deer Ridge Morganna ROM. When Morganna died in 2001, Boz became the sole matriarch, ruling the younger dogs and especially the puppies with an iron paw. Like her mother before her, Boz loved puppies in her older days, and we felt that each time we had a litter in the house, it probably added a few months to her lifespan.

Boz had a good long life--living to the ripe age of 13 years and 9 months. She passed over the Rainbow Bridge to be with Morganna, Bruiser, and Bomber on May 4, 2004.
